I like the idea about the sail boat handicap.
But for the 36point gamble, I disagree.
It is easy to cheat a system like that. Bet 28points on the weakest player,
1 point for the rest. Then you are almost guaranteed not to lose more than a
maximum of 8points. Not fun at all.

I'd suggest: Write down your rank on a list before the games. I'd write
somewhere between 14-12kyu. (please do not fake your strength)
We add handicap stones depending on the rank differences.
Each game is worth 1point.
